Shark First Aid

Most fatalities following interactions with sharks are the result of catastrophic haemorrhage. Recent experience with traumatic amputation has shown that rapid use of an effective arterial tourniquet will save a life in these circumstances.

The Australian and New Zealand Resuscitation Councils both recommend that if severe bleeding can not be controlled by the application of sustained pressure to or near the wound a tourniquet may be used.

Extreme Medical can supply the training and the equipment to ensure you and your team are able to save a life if confronted with major haemorrhage..ANYWHERE.
